      <image:caption>Molly Hoadley Molly Hoadley, retired LCPC, LMFT, founded No Place Like Home after attending the Maine Summit on Aging.  She was inspired by the multitude of volunteer programs that are working to help the state's aging population to stay engaged in their community and remain in their homes as they age.  As a retired family therapist who worked for 30 years helping families with children with mental illness, she has experience in the social serves field.  Molly envisions an army of volunteers who keep our treasured town a close, caring and connected community that takes care of our neighbors.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Shirl Weaver Shirley Weaver, MT(ASCP), MA, Ph.D.: Shirl has a long history of involvement in health professions education, both in military and civilian capacities. She was the founding director of the Maine AHEC System and the Maine Geriatric Education Center at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Associate Director of the Harvard Geriatric Education Center at Brigham &amp; Women’s Hospital. Professionally she focused on workforce training and education issues at national and state levels to improve health care for rural and underserved communities. Now enjoying retirement in Kennebunk, she is involved in local and state organizations dedicated to building healthy communities and enhancing everyone’s quality of life.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Ted Trainer Following a long career in international public health, Ted Trainer, with his wife Leslie, moved to Kennebunk in 2000, where his mother’s father’s family had settled in the mid-18th century. Since then, Ted has worked in public health, aging and hunger issues at the state, county and town levels. He has served the Town of Kennebunk on the Comprehensive Plan Committee, Committee on Aging and Planning Board. He is a member of the Kennebunk Portside Rotary Club and Unitarian Universalist Church of Kennebunk. He and Leslie have two children and four grandchildren, living in Virginia and Utah.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Vicki Hill Vicki Hill is a retired educator who moved to Kennebunk with her husband in 2015. Having a mother living in another state, she realized there was a great need to help seniors so they can remain in their homes; Vicki shared "our seniors deserve help from the community, and NPLH is one organization addressing that need every day." As an active member of our community who also volunteers at the Food Pantry, Vicki dedicates countless hours to giving back to others.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Karen Plattes Karen Plattes worked in non-profit organizations for nearly 40 years, as a direct service provider, teacher, community organizer, administrator, and fundraiser.  When she retired and moved to Kennebunk, 13 years ago, she quickly became involved with the Kennebunk Free Library. While on that board, she met Molly, and has served with Molly on the board of NPLH for 5 years. She also serves on the planning committee for Many Towns One Circle: Challenging Racism and Injustice, a group of residents in Kennebunk and surrounding towns, dedicating time to understanding and working to eliminate racism in ourselves and in our communities. In her leisure time, Karen likes to travel, garden and read.</image:caption>

A Kennebunk resident for 20 years, she worked with young families through Kennebunk Parks and Recreation Beyond Tots Adventure Program and has served as a Kennebunk Free Library Trustee and Friend. Time and interest now allow for volunteering to support the seniors in our community.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Pamela Bennett After learning about the mission of No Place Like Home, Pamela Bennett was eager to get involved, and joined the board in 2022. With a parent who is fortunate enough to age in place, Pamela wanted to assist seniors so they can remain in their loving home. Passionate about giving back to one’s community, Pamela works in the non-profit sector where she focuses on eliminating barriers to employment for underrepresented workers. In addition, Pamela enjoys volunteering in the classroom for Junior Achievement of Maine where she teaches financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness skills.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Sandra St. Jean Sandra St. Jean and her husband retired to Kennebunk in 2015 to live closer to her parents who are long time residents. With an interest in improving the quality of life for seniors, Sandra was excited to join the board and currently serves as Treasurer. Sandra brings a varied background to the board which includes computer programming and analysis, work in college admissions and a variety of volunteer roles within her town and church communities. She says, “it’s a privilege to be working with such a wonderful group of caring and creative people whose mission is to help older adults live and thrive in their homes.”</image:caption>
